Thanks for replying. A fun read. I just wonder: the magma pool. There was indications that there was som other way to find the magma pool, and have permanent acses. Was this ever tru`? Noone found out why. An editorial also indicated this

Hey, TNT! I have a question I’ve been wanting to ask: are we allowed to go to the Magma Pool and get a magma Neopet on our side account? I know it’s random at the Lab Ray, but what about going to the pool? Thanks, and here are some cookies! (please leave out my username) ~ username removed
You may not earn the right to visit the Magma Pool on your side accounts, as this would also earn you Neopoints, but you are welcome to visit in hopes of sneaking past the sleeping guard, as there are no Neopoints rewarded for doing so.
We worked on this in the early years, and when old friends come together we still discuss and wonder. Make us at ease, please tell us if we cold have found out

Hello, Momimanna! I’d love to put you at ease but, unfortunately, I wasn’t on the day-to-day of Neopets during that plot so I have never known the answer to this! I couldn’t tell you what that Editorial was referencing.
I’ll double check with some folks and see if they remember. I don’t want to get your hopes up, though, because it’s likely they don’t. It was a LONG time ago. But doesn’t hurt to check!
Yeah, the folks that worked on that don’t remember. One says it sounds familiar that there was an “unlock” feature on it but can’t actually confirm or refute it. Sorry! You’ll have to see if Neopets is willing to have a look and spoil this one for you.
The neo community actually recently solved it (mostly!) with the help of one of the newer devs!
It’s no wonder no one remembers the details because it’s absurdly complex, but a hilarious gem to uncover all these years later.
