How do you feel about the current exposure that proves UC are easy to create?

Hi, K! I’m not sure what you mean by “easy to create”? Do you mean on the Neopets data side? Individual UCs have always been relatively “easy to create” if you’re just talking about their individual data. If you know anything about how databases work, it’s some flags and fields in some tables. UCs already exist in the databases. So modify/replicate that data set on another Neopet’s entries and you’ve got another UC. There were issues I’ve talked about elsewhere with the system as a whole (so, much bigger than individual data sets), logistics, and our thoughts at the time on the pain of having to manage the two systems but yeah, not much of a problem individually.

The user is referring to a flash exploit that was found recently and abused by player(s) that allowed users to basically make any pet an UC pet.
It also stems from the notion that TNT, at one point, implied it wasn’t “easy” creating UC pets for special circumstances. (Stolen/bought pet chains)
Some users are mad because they believe that exploit disproves TNT’s claim that bringing back UC pets for good was a difficult or complicated undertaking.
