why neopets doesn’t allow the word poop
I’ve been forbidden from writting spoopy on the neoboards so many times….
I need to know what compelled tnt to ban that word when they have food, petpets and furniture made of that…

So ‘poop’ is one small word in a pretty big list of disallowed utterances on the Neopets . com website, which means I can’t really tell you why that one specifically is banned. I couldn’t remember the reason behind every one even if I wanted to. ?
Usually in these cases, though, it’s because people were misusing it the vast majority of the time. So like very obviously in place of ‘shit’ to swear, or to insult someone, or for targetted harassment, etc. If it’s a site item or the like, we could still use it because we could obviously trust ourselves to not do so inappropriately. When something like that gets way out of hand on the boards, it has to be banned and unfortunately those players ruined it for everyone else.
